Meet Jessica 

I've had the opportunity to learn the value of structure, trust, and clear communication through my work with dogs over the past several years.  My mission as a dog trainer is to help you lead your dog with greater success. To achieve our goal of creating a positive and fulfilling relationship between you and your dog, I will work alongside you to identify the appropriate training approach for your situation.  

I can assist you in resolving issues ranging from puppy training to more serious behavioral problems, which is where my expertise lies. I have a strong passion for helping struggling dogs work through reactivity. I also provide E Collar training lessons for anyone who is interested in more advanced training and off-leash dependability.

I am a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist and have spent much time studying the link between gut health and behavior in dogs. I believe it's crucial we acknowledge the relation between what our dogs eat and their overall health- mental and physical. We need to help them thrive instead of just survive. It’s my goal through both training and nutrition to help our dogs live a healthy, full, and happy life!

Primal Dog Training is based in Grass Lake, Michigan but will be providing in-home dog training services in Cortez, Florida and surrounding Manatee County areas during the winter months from December through April. I work directly with families in their homes to create clear communication and lasting results. Virtual coaching lessons are available year-round for clients outside service areas.
